FAQ on Student Attire

1. Can my child wear PE shorts throughout the school day and not change into their uniform after PE lessons?

P1 and P2 students are allowed to wear their PE attire for the whole day if they have PE for the day.

P3 to P6 students are allowed to report to school in their PE T-shirts with their school skirts / school shorts if they have PE lessons for the day.

For modesty reasons, the Primary 3 to 6 students have to put on their school skirts / school shorts at all times other than during PE lessons.

2. Can the name tags be positioned above the school logo on both formal uniform and PE T-shirts?

All students need to position their name tags on the formal school uniform’s pocket above the school crest. From 2019 onwards, P1, P2 and P3 students need to position their name tags above the school logo of their PE T-shirts.

FAQs on Student Matters

1. If students have disputes, should a parent represent his/her child to approach the other student/s to resolve the conflict?

Parents should not approach any of our students to resolve students’ conflicts. Parents should approach their children’s form teacher/subject teacher for assistance.

2. If a student has lost his/her personal belongings or money in school, can the school help to retrieve the lost items or money?

Please approach the student’s form teacher/subject teacher for assistance. He/She will check on the matter and get back to the student/parents. However, there may be instances when the lost items or money cannot be retrieved.

Therefore it is important for us to work together to educate every student to exercise self-responsibility in managing his/her own personal belongings.

3. Can a parent / guardian celebrate his/her child’s/ward's birthday in school?

We do not encourage celebration of birthdays in school because

  • Curriculum time must be protected for quality instruction; and

  • Other students may have dietary restrictions, e.g. food allergies
